Tracey Collins
Storyteller and Creative Explorer
Wild About Story is the creation of storyteller, musician and community explorer Tracey Collins. Experience as a teacher, a singer, a loo cleaner, a plant potter, a carer, a librarian, an organizer, a playworker, a development worker has taken her on a meandering path through the woods to becoming a storyteller for children called Mrs Stanley and a facilitator of inspiring singing and storytelling experiences for people of all ages. She works in schools & community venues and from her base at Cedar Farm in West Lancashire. What she loves most in the world is singing, the natural world, listening to a well told story and hanging out with her family.

Sue Povall
Storyteller and Soul Searcher
A friend of my mother once told me that “life has its ups and downs but it also has its corners”. My life has certainly had its corners!
I have two undergraduate degrees and a PhD. I have worked as a computer analyst programmer in England, Belgium, America and Australia. I have worked as a qualitative researcher in Public Health. In 2015 I discovered a love of telling stories from memory, and in June 2020 I retired from my job as a researcher to focus on storytelling full-time (not necessarily
the best timing!).
I also support my Dad through his life-corners.
I have an allotment. And as part of my involvement with Transition Town West Kirby, I help to organise Wirral Earth Fest, an annual Earth and people friendly festival in West Kirby.
